On the tenth anniversary of Behind the Chair’s Stylist Choice Awards, Nick Arrojo, as in 2009, is voted Platform Artist of the Year, 2010!

, Sam Villa – is a recognized pioneer of the industry.
 
And this, being Behind the Chair’s tenth anniversary show, is a glitz and glamour affair, held at McCormick Place, Chicago, Sunday, March 28. Leading to the main awards, the ARROJO artistic team – sans Nick, who watches from the audience – recreate for many of the industries leading lights the trailblazing runway show that proved such a hit at ABS.
 
Onto the awards and the buzz reaches fever pitch for the Platform Artist announcement, the most prestigious prize of the night. And the winner is…Nick Arrojo!
 
In his acceptance speech a teary-eyed Nick says:
 
“This award means so much because it is voted for by my fellow professionals and peers. It means I’m doing what I set out to do: educate, motivate, inspire; and my plan is to keep going, keep trying to raise standards. If we all share a commitment to excellence and integrity, we can keep improving the level of craftsmanship and professionalism throughout the industry. I couldn’t do what I do alone and I have to thank my team for sharing my vision of better education for all hairdressers. Watching them on-stage was so moving because I’m normally up there, too; it made my realize how amazing they truly are and what good hands the future of the industry is in.”
