In the Color & Cut Inspiration, seminar, held at ARROJO Academy, June 20-21, stylists from across the country learned, from ARROJO cut and color masters, to make color placement intrinsic to the shape and style of each cut, craft perfect style and authentic color.

The seminar’s focus was the symbiotic relationship between cut and color, highlighting how important they are to one-another’s success.

Day one covered cutting. Two morning demonstrations showed how to create asymmetry, disconnection, and innovative layering patterns. Each look was a trend-conscious example of fashion-forward and functional, beautiful, wearable hair, while the afternoon workshop allowed class attendees to practice these skills in a lively and fun hands-on workshop.

Day two covered color. The day began with a presentation of dimensional and X pattern highlighting, see-saw sectioning, and correct placement and tone. Following on, seminar students work-shopped these techniques under the guidance of ARROJO color masters.

A stunning success, the class gave increased versatility and razor-sharp creative edge to each stylist. But don’ take our word for it, here’s a selection of what attendees had to say:
