Tuesday, July 13, 2010 - 16:26 News: In Former Chocolate Factory, ARROJO Presents Sweet New Deal

Power Plant Productions, Philadelphia, July 12, 2010. Nick Arrojo and the ARROJO Professional team begin their 3-city tour with an event featuring live model demos of the latest trends and techniques in contemporary hairstyling alongside innovation-driven opportunities for hairdressers to work together for the mutual good.

To a packed audience of fellow professionals, Nick’s motivational introduction centers on the intentions of ARROJO: “Our vision,” said Nick, “is to share our belief that education and inspiration is the best route to growth for hairdressers. We want to connect our award-winning culture to professionals like us, nurture a network committed to success, excellence and integrity in all elements of the craft.”

A conviction brought to life through the ARROJO Ambassador Program. As Nick explained, this is our direct-to-salon, ARROJO Professional product distribution business. With no middleman, and a business plan that allows Ambassador salons to send staff to NYC for free ARROJO education, this is no typical product-distributor-salon business model.

“The direct relationship,” continued Nick, “gives potential for more than 50% gross profit on salon retail sales; and there is a free seminar for Ambassadors at the ARROJO academy every month, as well as Reward Dollars for wholesale product purchases – dollars that can be redeemed against any of the nine world-renowned advanced education seminars at the academy. Ultimately we want to help all Ambassadors realize potential because your success is our success and our success is your success; together we can make a stronger, more dynamic industry.”

All told as the team presented three hairstyles, shaped with ARROJO’s approach to modern and creative, precision-based hairstyling. There was Nick’s classic razor bob with bangs; there was Lina’s razor-cut mid-length shag; and there was Amanda’s layered razor cut, with editorial styling and braiding techniques to complete her look. The lively and fun demos gave the enraptured audience contemporary techniques they can use to improve their work with clients everyday.

ARROJO Ambassadors, then, represents our commitment to provide education alongside a great product line. As a means to foster growth in salon businesses, and develop a culture where hairdressers lead a bright new future for the craft, we want to empower one and all to be more creative, inspired, technically precise, and professional.
