And the Arrojo Master team twice storms main stage to activate Warped Geometry – our own devilishly twisted trend, straight from the streets of New York City. Rounded bobs and bowl shapes undercut for weightlessness, modern swing, and movement bring out the beauty; A-symmetrical lines aggressively layered on the light side and with clever weight distribution create a powerful focal point; short, cropped napes emphasize and support the graduated shape. Inspired by Mod culture, the perfectly crafted look is powerful, exciting, quirky. It’s energetic, playful, and adaptable. Beautiful and artistic, Warped Geometry puts the pizzazz back into hairstyle. With three fabulous Arrojo colorists, James, Ellie, and Abby all on stage there was a strong emphasis on dynamic, directional color at the show. The message: panels of imaginative color placed through the internal layers create a dramatic, solid look, while hints of color in the bangs gives a deep sensual glow. For reds it’s rich copper tones or standout lava red; for brunettes the depth and dimension of dynamic and peaceful frosty browns win out; and blondes have more fun in the soft and pastel metallic and ashy range. And after the success of last year’s event, IBS once again invited the Arrojo Education team into the classroom for an open-to-all seminar. Led by Nick Arrojo, is was packed- out, with attendees lining the aisle ways to see live model demos that focused on the swinging bangs, panel cutting and texturizing techniques developed and practiced at Arrojo Studio. Awe-inspiring Education. |
